Negril Private Day Tour
Best Jamaica, the eminent private Tour Company in Jamaica is please to introduce its Flagship Tour; namely, The Negril Day Tour. The highlights of this exquisite experience is visiting the famous Seven Mile Beach, Rick’s Café, sightseeing and shopping if the guests so desire.
The town of Negril located on the western end of Jamaica and is dubbed: The Capital of Casual and rightly so. It is a place where you can just be simple, let your hair down, put your feet up and just be you. Both locals and guests alike are mesmerized by the casual and relaxing atmosphere of Negril. This Flagship Tour normally starts out at around 10:00 AM; making our way west along the scenic A1 highway.
The A1 highway was constructed about ten years ago making the drive a lot smoother. Previously, the road surface was less than desirable, and there were a lot of sharp corners. In fact, the most famous Jamaican T Shirt then says, “I Survived the Road to Negril”. Today, that is no longer a concern and travelling time is even shorter, safer and more comfortable.
If you are a beach lover, then Negril is certainly your cup of tea. The Seven Mile Beach is to die for, the sand is white, powdery and feels like cotton under the feet. For a bit of geography, Jamaica is situated in the Caribbean Sea, and not the Atlantic Ocean, as a result the waves are generally flat caressing the shoreline ever so often. Generally, the seafloor is flat without any sinks making it very friendly for kids and non-swimmers alike.
After a day at the beach, the common practice is to head to the Rick’s Café for a couple of hours. Rick’s Café is a bar that is perched on a cliff and is famous for cliff diving, as well as watching the sun sets after another warm day. To enhance the experience, there is also a resident music band that plays reggae music starting from about 5:30 PM.
If you will be vacationing in Montego Bay, a Negril Day Tour should be on your bucket list. Let Best Jamaica help you create the Best Jamaican memories possible as we share the rich history and culture our country with you.
