Hilton Rose Hall Will Be Another Jewel
It has been reported that the Sagicor Group is set to
purchase the Hilton Rose hall Hotel in Montego Bay. The Hilton which was once
part of the Wyndham Group carries over 400 rooms and is owned by the Blackstone
Group. This stunning beachfront hotel is
located on the Legendary Rose Hall 18 century plantation. It boasts a
championship golf course, six tennis courts, and Water Park.
This purchase will now see The Sagicor Group own four hotels
on the island. The Hilton Rose Hall is expected to be re-branded under the
Jewel Resort nomenclature. The other properties that are owned by Sagicor are
Jewel Dunn’s River, Jewel Runaway Bay and Jewel Paradise Cove.
The price is not yet been disclosed, but according to a
Sagicor official the divulgence of the sale price will be done in due course.
